P-Nuckle
The history of Denver dub-reggae/pop-punk’s current ‘Nuckleheads’ begins in early 2001 when Chaka — who was playing with hip-hop/funk band Rhythm Vision — and Chris LaPlante (guitar), met at a show. Justin, who was both living and playing shows with Chris at the time, heard Chaka not long after, and he was pulled instantly into the band.
After two practices and a week-long tour, the crew went back to writing new music. It was about that time that Justin introduced everyone to Dave. After putting together his own studio albums and fronting a punk band called Eyecon, Dave was the perfect addition to the Nuckle. Together they started recording what would come to be known as COLFAX SATISFACTION, and after relocating to central downtown Denver, Dave started the Revolution Sound Lab, where the tracks from ‘COLFAX’ really began to come together.
Spring of 2004 ushered in the addition of new drummer, as the boys currently continue to work on perfecting their live show.
